The Edition That Almost Wasn’t…
The Etching edition of Robert’s new Self Portrait sold out within 6 hours of being announced in the Newsletter. So Robert and print master Alex Wood made plans to release a color serigraph version and offer it to everyone who never even got the chance to buy the etching. Robert sent Alex a color guide and Alex printed the serigraph edition in December. Soon after, Alex FedExed the edition to him in France where he signed it and sent it back in January. But there was a problem! FedEx in France now farms out the pickup chores to another company called TNT. But TNT didn't record picking up the package, so FedEx had no record of it being in their possession. The package was lost for two weeks until, quite mysteriously, it was returned to Robert's front door and left there. How did it get back to his place? Where had it been? Nobody knows. But it's on its way to us now and we'll be releasing it in the middle of February through this Newsletter. Be on the lookout!

SIGNED & NUMBERED HAIR MAGIC GICLEE
We have only two of Aline’s signed giclee prints for sale taken from Aline’s portraits of the colorful crazy Jewish ladies of Miami. When Aline's mother was alive, Aline used to spend time with her in Miami each year and got to know all the characters around the salon her mother frequented. She did portraits of them with pastel and colored pencil. There are only five prints in this edition and I'm selling the last two. The archival paper is 24" wide and 14.5" tall. Each is numbered, titled ("Hair Magic"), signed by Aline and dated (2012).
